Seven years ago after Margo and Jon’s first child was born they felt trapped.  They were of course ecstatic about being parents, but soon realized that children were not always welcome.

As new parents the need for social interaction and support was crucial at that time.  Margo wanted to meet other new parents and have someone to share stories, concerns and joys with. 

The seed for Perk and Play was planted at that point.  Her dream is to help parents.  For the new parent that needs a break or some adult interaction.  For parents that have been to the Zoo and Museum so many times they could be the guide.  For families new to the area looking to meet other families.  Perk and Play is a place for all parents.
